Job Description:


As a Staff Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting wellness within the healthcare facility. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and comprehensive nursing care across various settings.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree from an accredited nursing program.

  • Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.

  • Proven clinical nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting, with a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing.

  • Proficiency in nursing skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.

  • Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care delivery.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the healthcare facility.

  • CPR certification and other relevant certifications may be required, depending on the specialty or practice area.

  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning in the field of nursing.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assess patients' health status, develop nursing care plans, and implement appropriate interventions to meet patients' needs.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients' responses.

  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and medical history, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other nurses.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding illness management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.

  • Assist in diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and therapeutic interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

  • Follow established infection control protocols and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and other critical situations, following established protocols and procedures.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including continuing education, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting patients' rights and autonomy.
